Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

This is a permanent role, advertised by Rapier Employment, on behalf of our client. Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician - Nights Coleshill, Birmingham (B46) Monday to Friday 22:00 - 06:00 £49,705 per annum (inclusive of annualised shift and regional supplements)Are you a qualified Maintenance Technician with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for a proactive and experienced individual to join our team at our Coleshill Depot. This is a key role where you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving our mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems across the site. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on volume picking machinery.
• Respond swiftly to breakdowns and defects to minimise downtime.
• Manage and liaise with external contractors.
• Support and deliver technical projects within the Supply Chain.
• Maintain and optimise depot facilities and automation systems.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Proven experience in a maintenance department.
• Skilled in fault finding across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems.
• Desirable: IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
• Desirable: Experience managing a technical team.
