As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you ll be the key link between sales, supply chain and manufacturing ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently and on time.
What you ll do
- Build and maintain detailed production schedules across multiple print and packaging lines.
- Balance customer deadlines with machine capacity, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
- Monitor live jobs, adapt to changing priorities and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Work closely with procurement and sales to ensure materials and stock levels align with customer demand.
- Spot opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste and increase productivity.
What you ll need
- Proven experience in production planning within print or packaging.
- Strong understanding of scheduling systems/ERP/MRP tools.
- Calm under pressure, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Sharp attention to detail, great organisation and clear communication.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
