Paraplanner - Award-Winning Financial Planning Firm

Location: Newcastle (Hybrid - 2 days in-office, 3 days from home)Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Quarterly Bonuses + Comprehensive Benefits

We're working on behalf of an award-winning, privately owned Independent Financial Planning and Investment Management firm to recruit a technically proficient Paraplanner to join their growing team in Newcastle.

The Role

As a Paraplanner, you'll work closely with a team of Chartered Financial Planners and Advisers to deliver top-tier technical support. This includes producing cash flow models, high-quality suitability reports, and acting as a key technical resource across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse client data and conduct in-depth research on investments and financial products

  • Build cash flow models and draft tailored suitability reports

  • Develop solutions and make recommendations alongside advisers

  • Support with tax calculations and financial planning strategy

  • Respond to technical queries from colleagues and clients

  • Participate in peer reviews, client meetings (when needed), and pod/team meetings

  • Support training of team members and contribute to process improvements

Requirements
  • CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum requirement)

  • Working toward Chartered status or holding additional relevant qualifications is advantageous

  • At least 3 years' experience in a paraplanning role

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage a busy workload

  • Experience with tools such as Voyant, FE Analytics, and Curo is desirable
