We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded, fully independent financial planning firm based in the Midlands. This is a senior-level opportunity to join a Chartered, client-led business with a full client book ready for the successful candidate. The firm provides a supportive, professional environment where advisers can focus on delivering meaningful, long-term financial planning without the pressure of sales targets or restricted panels.
About the RoleThis is a rare opportunity to step into a well-established book of clients and build lasting relationships with individuals, families, and business owners. The role involves providing comprehensive, independent advice across pensions, investments, protection, and tax-efficient planning. You'll be supported by experienced paraplanners, administrative staff, and a robust internal infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver holistic, independent financial advice tailored to clients' needs
Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Work closely with support staff to ensure efficient and compliant service
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets, legislation, and best practices
Manage your own diary while contributing to a collaborative team environment
What We're Looking For
Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (Chartered or working toward it preferred)
Strong track record of ethical advice and client retention
Broad technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning
Relationship-driven with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and flexibly

Full paraplanning, administration, compliance, and marketing support
Competitive base salary in the range of £50,000-£70,000 depending on experience and qualifications
Higher package negotiable for advisers who bring some clients
Office-based Monday to Thursday, with flexibility to work from home on Fridays (Although for Advisors, when meeting clients etc, they are flexible)
Client-facing flexibility and autonomy encouraged
