This is a temp to perm role.Please note weekend work is required.We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and hardworking Driver, who can deliver to a pre-determined schedule and provide good customer service.Duties of a Class 1 Driver:- Deliver stock to retail stores- Operate tail lifts and pallet trucks as required- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately- Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects- Maintain a positive relationship with team- Adhere to all driving laws, tachograph, and working time regulationsRequirements for this Class 1 HGV Role:- Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points)- HGV Class 1 Licence with at least 6 months experience- CPC card and Digital Tacho Card- Flexible for shift patternsMore about the role:- £18.54 per hour- £25.56 Overtime paid after 8 hours- Working to a shift pattern including weekends (Weekend shifts paid at overtime)- Start times vary- Permanent contracts available on completion of probationTo find out more about this role, contact Paul in the Pertemps Basingstoke office or alternatively apply online
