About the Company:

We are working with a leading Tier 1 MEP contractor renowned for delivering high-quality engineering services across the commercial, retail, and leisure sectors. Due to ongoing project wins and long-term maintenance contracts, they are looking to expand their mobile engineering team with a skilled and motivated Mobile Electrical Engineer.

Role Overview:

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and small works installation of electrical systems across a portfolio of commercial buildings including offices, retail units, and cinemas. Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites

  • Respond to breakdowns and emergency call-outs in a timely manner

  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs to electrical systems, including lighting, power, emergency lighting, and distribution boards

  • Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and health & safety standards

  • Liaise with clients and site contacts in a professional and efficient manner

  • Complete job reports and update the CAFM system

  • Carry out minor installation works as required

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)

  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 Testing & Inspection (desirable)

  • Proven experience in a mobile or multi-site role, ideally within commercial environments

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication and customer service abilities

Package:

  • 40,000 - 42,000 per annum (DOE) + 10,000 Extra for Travel Time
