Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Day Shift)
Location: Hunslet, Leeds LS10
Salary: £12.21 + Overtime
Contract Type: Full-time (Temp Perm)
Working Hours: hrs per week

About the Role

We are currently recruiting hardworking Warehouse Operatives (Day Shift) to join a busy Fire door warehousing team. You ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations, including Scanning, Receiving, Storing, Picking & Packing, and Dispatching goods efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities of working as a Warehouse Operative (Day Shift)

• Receive, check, and store incoming goods and materials
• Pick and pack orders according to company procedures
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet trucks, forklifts if licensed)
• Assist with regular stock checks and inventory control
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Report any damages, shortages, or issues to the supervisor

Skills and Experience for working as a Warehouse Operative (Day Shift)

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to lift and move stock safely
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
• Basic IT and communication skills
