Engineering Physicist - Transducers

An Engineering Physicist with Ultrasonic Transducer design experience is sought by an exciting High-Technology company working in the renewable energy sector. As a key member of a talented Engineering and Research team you'll undertake research and experimental testing of the electrical, acoustic and mechanical systems relating to ultrasonic sensor technology.

Applications are sought from Transducer Engineers or Engineering Physicists who hold a MSc / PhD relating to Ultrasonic Transducer technology including areas such as Acoustics, Physics or Instrumentation.

The Transducer Engineer / Engineering Physicist should bring experience of the following:

• Ultrasonic Transducer design.
• Piezoelectric component level design.
• FEA modelling skills.
• COMSOL Multiphysics.
• Sensor technology.
• Design for high reliability applications.
