Full-Time, or part time available, Permanent

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE + benefits)

We're currently working in partnership with a leading financial planning firm based in Tyne and Wear to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their thriving team as either Paraplanner or Senior Paraplanner. Paraplanner - The opportunity and key responsibilities

As a Paraplanner, you will provide technical support to a team of Financial Advisers, while also taking a lead role in mentoring and developing less experienced team members, should you have experience in this in a former role. You'll play a crucial part in shaping high-quality financial planning strategies, producing detailed reports, and contributing to continuous improvements across the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner who's looking to step up, lead by example, and work with a progressive, people-focused financial planning business. Tasks will involve:

  • Conducting technical research and analysis to support advisers and meet client goals.
  • Drafting clear, compliant suitability reports across a broad range of advice areas.
  • Assisting in the review and enhancement of internal processes and documentation standards.
  • Supporting the leadership team in training, coaching, and developing paraplanners should you have extensive experience and a desire to share best practice.

Paraplanner - Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience within the financial services industry, ideally within an IFA or wealth management environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge in pensions and investments, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Holds the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent), or working towards chartered.
