Job Title: Nursery Teacher - Reception ClassLocation: Ealing, London
Contract: Full-time / Part-time ( 4 days a week)

About the Role:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to lead our Reception class of 12 children at our nursery in Ealing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early years education, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment to support children's development and readiness for primary school. Please note, NQT are accepted 
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
 - Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that supports children's learning and wellbeing.
 - Monitor and assess each child's progress, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to parents and management.
 - Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play and structured activities.
 - Work collaboratively with nursery staff and parents to ensure consistent support and communication.
 - Promote positive behaviour management techniques and maintain classroom discipline.
 - Ensure all health and safety standards are met, maintaining a safe learning environment.
 - Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
 
Essential Qualifications & Skills:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant early years teaching qualification (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent).
 - Experience teaching Reception or Nursery-aged children (preferably with small class sizes).
 - Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
 - Ability to plan, organize, and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
 - DBS clearance or willingness to undergo a DBS check.
 
Desirable Attributes:- Experience working in a multicultural or diverse community.
 - Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or child development.
 - First Aid qualification.
