Solar Electrician

Our client, based in Wigan, is currently seeking a skilled Electrician to become an integral part of our growing team. We are in need of a full-time Electrician to perform electrical installation tasks across a diverse range of contractual projects. The ideal candidate should bring expertise in boiler connections, including heat-only, Y-plan, S-plan, HIVE, SolarPV installation, air source heat pumps, and the issuance of minor works and domestic installation certificates through our NICEIC portal.

Our primary work area is in the NW region, with extensions to other areas as necessitated by contracts and business expansion.

Responsibilities as a member of the Electrical team include:

Electrical boiler installation works

SolarPV installation

Connection of air source heat pumps

Installation of storage heaters

Testing and inspection of all works using NICEIC standards and submission of results via our NICEIC portal

Required Accreditations:

Essential Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification

Essential Competency in Electrical Inspection & Testing

Essential Full UK Driving License

Essential Gold Card

Essential 18th Edition

• Essential AM2

Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical work.
