Based in North Tyneside, our client delivers client focused, life-centred financial planning. It is essential that the successful candidate resides within the North East area, as office visits will be required. A small team, they support each other to ensure the business grows and clients receive the best possible service - every single time.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone to continue their paraplanning career in a remote capacity, with study support to Chartered, if desired.
Responsibilities:
Prepare for and attend client meetings with the Financial Planners, developing relationships with clients and acting as first port of call for client queries
Technical research, financial planning recommendations and implement solutions
Analyse portfolios, benchmarking, rebalancing and on-going portfolio maintenance
Analyse client data and prepare cash flow analyses (using Voyant)
Liaise with product providers and other third parties
Delegate tasks effectively to the administrative support team, ensuring the highest levels of client service are delivered
Ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met
Contribute to the ongoing development of best practice within the business
Qualifications:
Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS) or equivalent, is essential
Candidate Requirements:
Must have previously worked as Paraplanner
Knowledge and experience of all areas of financial planning - investment portfolio management, pensions, taxation, protection, estate planning etc.
Experience of, or keen to learn, cash flow modelling (Voyant)
Experience of dealing with complex financial planning or high net worth clients, ideally
A strong relationship builder and collaborative team player with a caring and quality focused, customer centric approach
Sound technology and mathematical aptitude
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage workflow effectively

Hours: 37.5 9-5 rigid (7.5 hours)
Holidays: 26 (increasing to 30) plus stats (closed at Xmas), 1 well-being day
Pension: 5% matched, increasing to 10% matched
