This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and respected manufacturer as a Sales Administrator within a busy and supportive customer care team.

Please note: this role does not involve outbound sales - you ll be providing vital administrative support to the sales function. You will work onsite 5 days per week.

About you

  • 2 3 years experience in a similar role in sales administration or customer service
  • A true team player who enjoys working collaboratively in a lively, hands-on manufacturing environment
  • Confidence to liaise across departments, including shop floor staff, to resolve customer queries around quality or lead times
  • Someone who thrives under pressure and can handle a high volume of queries and order processing
  • Strong systems skills previous experience with SAP or similar systems is highly desirable
  • A proactive problem solver who takes initiative and brings solutions to the table

About the role

  • Ensuring all sales orders are accurately received and transferred to SAP for production
  • Co-ordinating order intake with production capacity and transport availability to meet customer expectations
  • Handling customer enquiries, complaints, and credit requests, and liaising with NPD, Quality, and Credit Control
  • Managing delivery schedules and customer collection arrangements
  • Representing the team in manufacturing and transport meetings, sharing updates and gathering feedback
  • Processing orders through the internal system
  • Occasionally delivering product-specific sales training to retail customers
  • Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties
  • This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site in Glossop (please note: hybrid working is not currently offered)
