All shift patterns considered as we're flexible minimum 40.25 hours (No Monday Friday days available) Salary: Days: £18.51 per hour Nights: £21.04 per hour Overtime available paid £27.77 per hour Responsibilities: Service, inspection, maintenance and repair of trucks and trailers. Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation. Overhaul electrical equipment and components. Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment. Welding and metal working. Department of Transport (MOT) testing preparation. Parts ordering and stores management. Support team members including Apprentice Technicians as required. Accurately record time and detail of completed jobs. Carry out inspection and repair of workshop equipment as directed. Qualifications: Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance or equivalent or proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role in vehicle maintenance. Diagnostics skills/qualifications desirable. A valid Class 1 licence desirable. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
