Adele Carr Recruitment is delighted to be supporting the recruitment needs of a growing organisation in Liverpool who are keen to appoint a Finance Business Partner on a full time, permanent basis.
Collaborating across this SME organisation, this is a pivotal position within the finance function, bringing financial insight and support to the Finance Director and key stakeholders.
The successful new appointment will have a proven background in management accounts, overseeing spend and budgets, providing detailed forecasts and insightful MI / KPI reports for the senior leadership team, measuring business performance.
You will be a qualified accountant, (ACA / CIMA / ACCA), seeking a role with a level of autonomy and responsibility.
Attention to detail and a pro-active attitude is key, along with a proven background in big data, financial analysis and reporting. Excel / Power BI would be beneficial, although all training will be provided.
The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for:
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
- Partner with operational teams to understand costs, key drivers, challenges and potential opportunities to improve business performance.
- Produce monthly management accounts and MI packs.
- Adding value - manage / lead projects and initiatives to improve financial processes, continuous improvement.
- Lead variance analysis to ensure budgets and forecasts are met, identifying any risks or deviations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence financial outcomes and achieve business targets.
- Present financial results and insights to the senior management team and other stakeholders.
- Support the wider business in recommending / implementing change
The ideal applicant, will be:
- Available for permanent work in Liverpool at short notice

- Possess strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- A strategic thinker with a proactive, results-driven approach.
- Capable of working well under pressure, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Familiar with stakeholder management, business partnering
- Knowledge of MS Excel / PowerBI
