We are seeking to appoint a Geography Instructor to join this thriving School. Reporting to the Headteacher, you will be responsible for the delivery of engaging and challenging lessons, ensuring that the department and the school are successful in achieving its aims. You will be an enthusiastic, flexible and determined individual who shares our values and is looking to develop their career in this specialist area

The ideal candidate will have:

Cambian Potterspury Lodge School supports and educates students with Autism and other associated challenges within the autistic spectrum, offering pupils aged 8-18 a differentiated, engaging and challenging curriculum. Our school offers up to 52-week residential provision and also provides day-student placements.

Requirements for an Enhanced DBS and reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practice. Whilst we endeavour to keep the recruitment process as short as possible due to the nature of these important checks it may extend the processing time.

We will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the search and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
