HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
Location: Southampton
Salary: £52,(Apply online only) per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday Early Shift: 07 30 Late Shift: 15 00
Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

  • Service and repair a range of HGVs to high safety and performance standards
  • Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and manual methods
  • Complete repairs efficiently and accurately
  • Work as part of a productive team in a busy workshop
  • Ensure all job records and compliance paperwork are completed properly
  • Engage in ongoing training and development

Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Essential

  • Experience working as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic
  • Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

  • HGV Class 1 licence
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
