JRS Associates have partnered with a leading company in the North East to recruit a skilled Field Service Engineer with a strong background in Plant, Bus, and Agricultural machinery.
Covering the North East region, you ll be delivering first-class repair, maintenance, and overhaul services across a range of heavy equipment. If you ve got strong mechanical and diagnostic skills and want to join a business that invests heavily in training, this is the role for you!
The Successful Field Service Engineer - Package:

Salary: £34,000 £37,000 per annum

Benefits: Company van, paid door to door

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 4:45pm

Progression: Training courses worth £10,000+
The Successful Field Service Engineer - Duties and Responsibilities:

Fault diagnosis, repair, and overhaul of engines, transmissions, and hydraulics
-
On-site breakdown support and preventative maintenance across the North East

Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting using diagnostic equipment
-
Maintain safety and quality in all service work

Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting relationships

Train apprentices/junior engineers when assigned

Ensure all work is completed within agreed timescales
The Successful Field Service Engineer - Requirements:

Minimum 5 years mechanical experience with Plant, Bus, or Agricultural machinery

Skilled in diagnostics for diesel engines and hydraulic systems

Familiar with tooling, diagnostic software, and fault-finding methods

Strong communication and organisational skills

Full UK driving licence
