Design Engineer Beauty/Retail
Central London, hybrid (3 days, 2 days remote)
Are you an innovative engineer with a passion for retail design and beauty environments? We re looking for a Design Engineer to join our team and bring technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving to exciting retail projects across the UK and beyond.
This role sits at the intersection of design and production engineering ensuring retail spaces don t just look great, but work seamlessly too.
What the Design Engineer will be doing:

Design & Development Create and refine innovative engineering designs for retail fixtures, layouts, and systems.

Project Management Lead technical aspects of store rollouts, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure projects run on time and to budget.

Technical Support Troubleshoot store infrastructure, POS, networking, and environmental controls.

Innovation & Optimization Research sustainable, scalable, and energy-efficient solutions for retail environments.
What we re looking for:

Proven 2D & 3D engineering experience in beauty/retail design.

Strong SolidWorks skills and knowledge of PDM processes.

Deep understanding of materials, production, and manufacturing processes.

Ability to interpret client briefs into tangible engineering solutions.

Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise and manage multiple projects.

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Analytical, problem-solving, proactive, and detail-focused.
