Hygiene Manager (Nightshift)

Candour Talent are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Manager (Nightshift) to join our client based in Bridgend.

• Location: Bridgend
• Employment Type: Permanent/Full Time
• Working Hours: Tuesday to Thursday 10pm to 7am, Friday 6pm to 8am
• Salary: 35k per annum

Excellent opportunity to join a well-establish food manufacturing facility in Bridgend. The Hygiene Manager is an essential part of the team and ensures the production environment meets the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

This position requires an excellent eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a passion for food manufacturing!

The Role:

• Lead, motivate and develop a team
• Manage nightshift staff rota and holidays
• Create and take responsibility for cleaning schedules to meet strict hygiene and food safety standards (BRC, HACCP, COSHH)
• Complete staff training
• Conduct audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with Production and QA teams to address hygiene issues
• Manage cleaning equipment, chemical supplies, and ensure safe working practices
• Maintain accurate cleaning records

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in food manufacturing hygiene management
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and allergen cleaning controls
• Team leadership, development, and training experience
• Relevant qualifications in food safety, food hygiene, or related, preferred
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH
