Job Title: Care Assistant
Location: Nursing Home, Hindhead
Hours: Full-Time, Day Shifts (12 hours)
Salary: 13.20 per hour, rising to 15.00 per hour after completion of 6 months probation

About the Role:
As a Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care to residents, supporting them with daily living tasks, personal care, and mealtimes. You will play a vital role in maintaining their independence, dignity, and wellbeing, while creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on care, including washing, dressing, mobility support, and assistance with meals
Provide specialist support for residents with dementia and age-related care needs
Promote independence and encourage social engagement
Observe and report changes in health, behaviour, or wellbeing
Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
Work collaboratively as part of a professional care team
About You:
Compassionate, reliable, and motivated
Experience in elderly care, dementia care, nursing, or healthcare support desirable but not essential - full training provided
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexible and able to work full-time, 12-hour day shifts
