Location: Cambridge (Hybrid or Office-based)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + benefits

Are you a motivated Town Planner looking to join a respected planning consultancy with a strong presence across the East of England?

We're working with a highly regarded consultancy in Cambridge that's looking to strengthen its planning team with the addition of a Town Planner. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 2-5 years' experience in the planning sector who is looking to work on a wide range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across the region.

You'll be joining a friendly and knowledgeable team with a collaborative culture, clear career progression routes, and support towards MRTPI (if not already achieved).

The Role:
  • Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and supporting documents

  • Advise clients on planning policy, development potential, and strategy

  • Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Attend site visits and client meetings within the region

  • Support senior planners on complex schemes while managing your own caseload

What We're Looking For:
  • Town Planning degree (or related)

  • Around 2-5 years of experience in a planning consultancy or local authority

  • Ideally working towards or already MRTPI qualified

  • Confident communicator and able to work independently and in a team

  • Strong understanding of the UK planning system, especially within the East of England
