To join this team we look for individuals who demonstrate the following: calmness during crisis situations such as aggression, self harm, destructive behaviours for example confidence in your experience to support you making prompt decisions on a daily basis understanding of how trauma, previous experiences and diagnoses can impact day to day behaviours of children and young people non judgemental keeping an open mind and refraining from criticising even during challenging situations resilience to continue supporting through particularly stressful situations and to keep trying new ways to engage and build trust observant your observations and outcomes of support will have a significant impact on the child's / young person's journey, you will have heightened awareness levels and the ability to share these insights through your reports and meetings with other professionals Skills and training Must have 6 months paid experience in the UK Ideally drivers licence and business insurance DBS on update service or support new application PMVA trained - ideally or willing to undertake training What to expect next: We have excellent opportunities to support your professional development within the children services sector across the UK.
