The starting salary for this role is £47,884 based on working 36-hours per week.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team, providing professional Occupational Therapy to children, young people and families living in Surrey.
The team has two offices bases, one in Woodhatch Place, Reigate, the other in Victoria Gate, Woking. However, this is a community-based hybrid role so will involve visiting children in their homes, working from your own home, and/or using any other Surrey County Council offices as and when required.

About the Role
As a children's social care Senior Occupational Therapist, you will manage a complex caseload providing full Occupational Therapy assessments, advice and support for children and young people with a wide range of needs. This will include completing risk assessments for the provision of specialist equipment and making recommendations for major and minor adaptations.
You will work alongside our experienced specialist team of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Social Workers and Support Workers. You will also work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapy Team Manager. We offer access to formal and informal learning opportunities, support and supervision that encourages Therapists to be creative and innovative and to continuously develop their skills.
The Team is a well-established and experienced, sat within the Children with Disabilities Resources services alongside the Children's Crisis Service and Children with Disabilities Outreach.

Surrey has both urban and rural areas and Occupational Therapists will be expected to have a valid driving licence to drive in the UK, access to a vehicle and be willing to travel across a wide geographical area.
