Arborist / Groundsman

Madisons are recruiting for a Groundsman/ Arborist to get started on a permanent basis for a client of ours based local to Reigate, Surrey.

Candidates must have a Full UK Drivers License to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Accompany skilled arborists performing tree maintenance
• Remove branches from the designated drop zone too the van.
• Operate and maintain various tools and equipment used in tree care, such as chainsaws, pole saws, and wood chippers preferred.
• Conduct ground maintenance activities including raking, mulching, and weed control.
• Assist in the planting and transplanting of trees and shrubs
• General garden maintenance

Qualifications:

• Previous horticultural experience
• Familiarity with groundskeeping practices and landscape maintenance preferred.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Monday to Friday - 7:30-4:30
