Role - Prosecutions Lawyer
Location - South London / hybrid
Rate - 45-55ph umbrella / 48.48ph PAYE inc. holiday pay / 43.26ph PAYE exc. holiday pay
Contract - 3 months with the potential for extension, 36 hours per week
Please note that this role is hyrbid working, with office attendance once per fortnight.
About the Role:
You will assist the Senior Prosecutions Lawyer in providing an efficient, high-standard prosecutions service to the council. Your expertise will support advice and legal guidance across criminal, licensing, and local government law, as well as other projects as assigned. The role requires someone with recent and relevant experience in local government prosecutions and criminal litigation.

Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' PQE in criminal law and local government legal services.
- Recent local government experience in prosecutions and criminal litigation within a local authority setting.
- Experience in licensing matters, including the Licensing Act 2003.
- Ideally, experience sitting as a legal adviser to licensing sub-committees.
