QA Technician

Stem Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for someone who is either Degree educated, or experienced in QA/ QC to gain experience as a QA Technician for a manufacturing company based in eyemouth. The Role: As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a key role in upholding and improving the standards that keep our customers satisfied and our workplace safe. Reporting to the Quality Manager, your key responsibilities will include: • Ensuring customer satisfaction through consistent adherence to quality standards; • Adherence to health, safety and hygiene procedures, whilst driving a safety-first culture; • Performing regular instrument calibrations in line with the calibration schedule Requirements o Previous experience in quality control or assurance role, or a degree in a relevant scientific, technical or engineering discipline o A qualification in 6 sigma green belt or above, along with ISO auditor experience, is desirable. o The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, precision and accuracy in testing and reporting, have strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills and have a strong work ethic, along with a proactive and independent approach
