Duties of HGV Class 1 Drivers- Easy trunking to an RDC or a couple of drops (1-4 depending on the route) HGV drivers will be expected to be flexible in the type of lorry they drive as this is a general haulage site, this can include - Curtain sider, Box trailer, Temperature controlled trailers, Pallet network work. Modern, well looked after trucks Start times can vary but we are looking for HGV Class 1 Driver who are available to start around from 05:00 am but this could include a 2 hour window either side. Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average. The ideal HGV Class 1 Drivers will have- A valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License A minimum of 6 Months experience is essential Valid CPC Card Valid Digital Card Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.
