This role is crucial for developing and maintaining relationships with local employers and delivering high-quality apprenticeships with a focus on electrical engineering. The successful candidate will play a key role in the recruitment of new apprentices and manage their learning processes effectively to ensure high standards of education and training. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and account manage relationships with local employers, focusing on the development of Higher Apprentices. Ensure all apprentices receive an initial and diagnostic assessment and skills scan, recognizing prior learning where applicable. Contribute to course review, internal verification, and self-assessment procedures within the department as appropriate. Required Skills & Qualifications: Higher level, degree, or other relevant qualification in an appropriate subject. Engineering qualification, with a preference for electrical engineering. Assessor and/or Teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential. Experience in assessing relevant engineering standards or frameworks is highly desirable. Relevant industrial experience within the Engineering sector. Effective communication skills, capable of dealing successfully with all levels of management, apprentices, tutors, and employers.
