Do you have a background in merchandising, import or supply chain co-ordination? If you re data driven with a stock focus, or if you re used to working with high volume SKU s then we could have the perfect opportunity for you. If you re looking to join a business with a great culture, one that values you, your experience and your ideas then we ve partnered with an impressive home textiles manufacturer, based in Derbyshire. They ve doubled in size in recent years and have excellent plans for the future; now is the time to join them. They re looking for an Import Merchandiser to join their fantastic team. Supporting them in managing stock pipelines, supplier relationships and order books, you ll be a vital link between the business, its suppliers and its customers making sure the products arrive on time, in full and to the highest quality standards. What you ll get Salary £28-£32k (DOE) Pension scheme Flexible working and hybrid options 25 days holiday plus stats Your birthday off Life assurance Lots of other things such as paid volunteer days, fun social & charity events, free fresh fruit, modern working offices The chance to work with major UK retailers and international suppliers About you You ll have previous experience in a similar role Able to commute to Glossop You ll be organised, a strong relationship builder, have a keen eye for detail and data and have an analytical mindset You ll be proficient with MS Office especially Excel About the role You ll manage the order books, purchase orders and stock pipelines Review service levels and track key performance metrics Create and upload container and loading plans Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely deliveries Participate in critical path management for key accounts Work with internal teams to keep stock budgets and timelines on track About the company A business that s doubled in recent years Supplier to the UK s largest home textiles retailer Supportive, close-knit team with a collaborative approach Clear scope for personal and professional development
