Team Teach trained support worker

Job Description:

Leader Education are currently recruiting for Team Teach trained Teaching Assistants in partnership with an educational setting in Middlesbrough.

The role would be to support a Key Stage 4 student with social, emotional, and mental health needs and are no longer in mainstream provisions.

You will have previous experience of working with students and young people with SEMH - social, emotional, and mental health needs (previously known as BESD, SEBD & EBD) and have recent Team Teach training and accompanying qualifications.

Job:

You will be required to provide either one to one or small group support to learners with SEMH needs.

To comply with individual learning plans

You:

You must be an experienced classroom support assistant that has experience of working with SEMH needs.

You are patient, resilient and thick skinned.

Have up to date Team Teach training

You have excellent communication skills

You have a therapeutic and holistic approach

£105 - £115 per day

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• SEN: 1 year (preferred)
• Special Needs Teaching Assistants: 1 year (preferred)
