Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture small-batch precision components using horizontal and vertical machining centres.
- Work to tight tolerances, following detailed engineering drawings.
- Use a range of measuring equipment to verify component accuracy.
- Perform final drilling, deburring, and packing of machined parts.
- Support other functions within the manufacturing area, including Assembly, Machine Shop, and Fabrication.
- Complete all assigned tasks efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Skills & Experience Required
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, Grade C or above (preferred).
- Formal CNC training (advantageous).
- Proven CNC Milling experience. Experience in Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing (preferred).
- Proficient working with metal materials.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Competent in using metric and imperial measurements.
- Computer literate with a methodical approach.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
