Math Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths Teacher to deliver lessons to students with diverse needs, including those with SEND. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach and support students who are unable to attend mainstream schooling, helping them engage with Maths Studies through tailored and accessible lessons.

Position: Math Teacher

Location: Cambian SEMH Devon school- Paignton, Devon

Hours: 40 hours per week, term time

Salary Details: Up to £43,680 per annum DOE

Devon School is dedicated to providing pupils aged 7 to 18 years with a high quality and individualised learning environment with ongoing SEMH Difficulties. A successful candidate should have:

• Suitable education qualifications such as QTS, a teaching degree or degree and PGCE.
• Successful experience of implementing positive behaviour support strategies.
• Knowledge of inclusive education that challenges students to reach meaningful outcomes for increased independence.
• Knowledge of current curriculum developments.
• Knowledge of child and adults safeguarding procedures.
• Understanding of the principles of good curriculum provision.
