CLASS 1 DRIVER

Class 1 Driver

Savanna staff Solutions are looking for a class 1 driver for a mainly shunting role for our Live TV client site near Chalgrove Airfield Oxfordshire

This role is a emp to perm role suited to someone of a slightly older and more experienced disposition who is looking for a much slower pace of work.

Your daily Class 1 driver duties will consist of the following:

• Working just 8 hours per day 7am - 3pm
• Hooking and unhooking trailer and moving them in and out of a warehouse/hanger
• Liaising with team leader as to what type of trailer/s should be at the front
• Occasionally running trailers/units to service sites for PMI s
• Constantly rejigging the order of trailers

This Class 1 Driver role would suit someone who is happy to work hard occasinally where necessary but equally happy at times to have long periods of downtime in the day where keeping the site tidy looking good can be done and possibly doing the odd bit of maintenance to trucks or trailers.

All Class 1 driver applicants must have good experience on class 1 as there are 21 spaces for vehicles in the warehouse and precision driving is key to this role
