Reporting to the fuel team leader, you will be responsible for carrying out overall fuel handling duties throughout the fuel field product lifecycle.
Your new role
- Operate the fuel handling and by-product plants with respect to safety, environmental and operational limits
- Carry out day-to-day duties as and when requested, such as fuel sampling, storage and delivery intake.
- Provide operational support to the operations and maintenance teams to maximise plant performance
- Undertake all required loading and unloading activities for general site deliveries,
- Ensure all fuel handling activities are recorded and report any problems/defects etc.
This is a summed-up list, and other responsibilities and duties will be required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in a similar role or similar hands-on manufacturing role.
- Ability to work to strict daily tasks and duties
- Experience using Counterbalance FLT/ Front Loader/Telescopic Handler and Overhead Grab Crane or similar would be advantageous.
- Ability to work with manual machinery and equipment
- Knowledge and experience of working in a power station or biomass environment would be highly desirable.
