Assistant Site Manager

FIT OUT ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER - CAMBS/ESSEX BORDER - CAT A - START ASAP!

Romans Recruitment Group (RRG) are recruiting for a Freelance Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a fast-track CAT A fit out project in Great Chesterford in Essex (Cambridgeshire/Essex border).

This role is ideal for someone who has proven experience in the fit out sector, is confident managing subcontractors, and can work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Project Type:

Youll be working on a Research Park and be working on a CAT A Fit Out Office/Lab project, with project value of £6m with a duration of x30 weeks. Our client is a reputable Cambridge based Fit Out contractor with a fantastic track record of delivering high spec projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Site Manager with daily operations on site

Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and trades

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

Maintain quality standards and assist with snagging and handover

Keep accurate site records and report progress

Requirements:

Must have previous experience on interior fit out projects (retail, commercial, or office fit outs)

Valid SSSTS or SMSTS

CSCS card

First Aid

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Able to work independently and keep the site running smoothly in the Site Managers absence when needed

What s on Offer:

£220 - £230 per day per day

Start Date: 3/11/25 - Interviews will be arranged asap!
