Heating Maintenance Team SupervisorAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Heating Field Operations Technician/Supervisor to join our mechanical services division. You will support and oversee a team of operatives responsible for servicing, repairing, maintaining, and installing gas and heating systems across commercial plant rooms, dwellings, and client properties. The successful candidate must hold current Commercial Gas ACS qualifications, have strong on-the-job experience, and ideally bring previous supervisory experience. Key Responsibilities Supervise, support, and monitor operatives delivering heating, gas, and plant maintenance services. Provide technical guidance, diagnostics support, and monitor work progress. Adecco working in partnership with Bentley motors aftersales team are looking for a Technical Author - Workshop Information to be a vital part of delivering world-class technical documentation for their prestigious brand! Location: Crewe, UK Contract Type: Until 31/01/2027 Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days on-site) About the Role: In this exciting position, you will craft clear, engaging, and precise technical documentation that supports both customers and technicians around the globe. Your expertise will play a crucial role in the lifecycle of our client's remarkable vehicles, from developing Workshop Information. Key Responsibilities: Workshop Information Develop and maintain repair information for mechanical and electrical procedures for new product launches and model year updates. Interpret Product Description Books (PDBs), Technical Product Descriptions (TPDs), and Engineering Change documentation. Ensure content is user-friendly, brand-aligned, and technically accurate. Quality & Communication Ensure documentation meets internal standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Planning, Legal, and Marketing. Support internal and external communications to promote Aftersales initiatives. What We're Looking For: Skills & Experience Experience in the automotive industry with mechanical and electric procedures (Senior Technician, Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Automotive engineer) Proven ability to write clear, concise technical documentation for diverse audiences. Proficient in digital platforms and data management systems. Experience in external publication and catalogue systems preferred. Knowledge Requirements Understanding of client product and retailer processes. Familiarity with automotive engineering and Aftersales practises. Knowledge of VW Group systems and legislative requirements. Proficient in handbook and illustration systems. Qualifications Strong content writing skills Qualification in English Good knowledge of systems with minimal training provided Ability to arrange moving images/text for documentation Essential understanding of automotive parts Why Join Our Client?
