Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: South Oxfordshire (mainly RAF Benson, with cover across nearby Defence sites)Salary: £43,000 + overtime
About the RoleWe are looking for a qualified and experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join a Defence-focused team in South Oxfordshire. This permanent role offers a stable position with excellent benefits and opportunities to increase earnings through overtime and on-call allowances. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance across commercial gas systems at RAF Benson and nearby sites, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer service.
Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults on boilers, heating systems, and appliances.
- Ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations and health & safety standards.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across Defence sites.
- Complete accurate records of all work carried out and follow required procedures.
Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer Requirements:
- Commercial Gas qualifications / Gas Safe registered.
- Experience working on both domestic and commercial boilers.
- Knowledge of PPM (planned preventative maintenance) and reactive maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Clearable background (5-year UK footprint required).
