Location: Newton Aycliffe

Hours: Mondays, 1pm-4pm (3 hours/week)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Temporary / Part-Time

Rate: Competitive (based on experience)

A further education provider in the Newton Aycliffe area is seeking a committed and adaptable Mathematics Lecturer to support apprenticeship learners aged 17-25. You'll be delivering GCSE Maths and potentially Functional Skills Maths, helping learners achieve essential qualifications required for their vocational training.

These learners are currently undertaking apprenticeships and need Maths qualifications to complete their programmes. Your support will be key to their academic and professional success.

• Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
• Experience delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths
• DBS on the Update Service (mandatory)
• Ability to engage and support learners aged 17-25
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Experience in further education or apprenticeship settings
• SEN teaching experience
• Flexibility to deliver sessions at other nearby sites (subject to confirmation)
