Resident Liaison Officer

A progressive and people-focused principal contractor is looking to appoint a Resident Liaison Officer to support a major long-term façade remediation project in Leeds. You will play a key role in coordinating access, organising handovers, and liaising closely with both the client and multiple trades to ensure rooms are returned to a high standard after works are completed.

Resident Liaison Officer - Job Overview

• Based full-time on a live project site in Leeds (initial project duration: 2+ years)
• Coordinating with multiple internal trades to manage works and ensure timely handovers (approx. 30-40 rooms per week)
• Liaising with the client to organise room access and student vacating arrangements
• Overseeing the sequence of works including external façade installations and internal reinstatement (e.g., painting & decorating)
• Ensuring smooth communication between residents, trades, and site management
• Maintaining daily/weekly handover schedules and resolving access or snagging issues

Resident Liaison Officer - Requirements

• Experience in construction liaison, site coordination or site management
• Prior experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or similar
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workflows
• Confident communicator able to work closely with clients and residents
• Previous experience in occupied refurbishments or student accommodation preferred
• Must be based within commutable distance to Leeds
