We are seeking a SENIOR CAD DESIGN ENGINEER

We are a busy, thriving manufacturing facility in the Birmingham area, a market leader with a reputation for quality and innovation.

We re seeking a Senior CAD Design Engineer to join our growing design and development team. You ll play a key role in turning ideas into beautifully engineered products, supporting our in-house manufacturing process and contributing to the details that define luxury

Commutable from Birmingham, Handsworth, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Smethwick, Moseley, Hall Green, Aldridge, Hockley, Quinton, Solihull and Minworth

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop products using CAD (AutoDesk Inventor).
• Produce accurate technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with production to optimise designs for manufacturing.
• Check technical drawings and support the shop floor team.
• Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and detail

Requirements

• Good CAD knowledge (AutoDesk Inventor preferred, but not essential)
• Knowledge of metals and machining processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of GD&T principles.
• Mechanical Engineering degree (or similar) though not essential
• Experience in machining, BOM creation, and technical documentation, would be nice, but again, not essential
