Salary: 50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (No Weekends)

What the HGV Technician could expect:
Ou client is currently seeking an experienced and reliable PSV Engineer to join our team in Hayes on a full-time basis. This is a day shift role with no weekend working, offering a stable schedule and a competitive salary of 50,000 per year. You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a fleet of public service vehicles (PSVs) to ensure maximum safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician:

• Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on PSVs and buses
• Perform fault diagnostics using appropriate tools and systems
• Ensure all vehicles meet DVSA standards and company safety policies
• Conduct MOT preparations and associated remedial work
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet maintenance schedules
• Provide support for vehicle breakdowns as required during shift hours

Requirements of the HGV Technician:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
• Proven experience working as a PSV, HGV, or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Valid UK driving licence (PCV licence desirable but not essential)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety
