Location: Market Drayton

ContractType: Full-time, Permanent.

WorkingHours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £30,000 + excellent company benefits

The primary role of a Facilities Technician is to optimise property conditions, service & standards whilst keeping a safe working environment for all on site.

You'll be responsible for the upkeep of our site's buildings and services - from janitorial and electrical systems to plumbing, security and external grounds. Whether it's planned preventative maintenance or responding to urgent issues, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out reactive maintenance to ensure the site operates safely and efficiently
• Understand and maintain plumbing and drainage systems, for example repairs to WC systems, leaking taps or water testing and unblocking drains
• Complete planned maintenance tasks and record them in our systems
• Ensure equipment is returned to service safely and maintained to required standards
• Identify and implement improvements to day-to-day maintenance activities
• Prevent recurring issues through thorough and effective maintenance practices
• Carry out repairs to the fabric of a building, for example repairs to walls, doors, door frames, skirting boards or plaster damage to internal walls
• Support and prepare any office moves or individual requirements
• Some travel may be required to Telford and Minsterley sites

What you'll bring:

• NVQ in Plumbing
• General building competencies such as Electrical, carpentry, painting & decorating
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective Communicator
• Full UK driving licence
• Self-direction and personal drive
• Team working and adaptability
