Contribute to the Procurement strategy for the team's spend categories, which include customer premise equipment, content protection technologies and IoT devices. Own and lead data gathering and analytics for the team on spend information, contract data, market analysis and other required data and reports. Own a pipeline of tactical deals in Content Protection and IoT and support a range of strategic initiatives within the wider category. Build and maintain internal partner relationships, with regular communication, ensuring clear understanding and alignment between their strategic technology plans and Procurement's direction. Be able to produce deal summaries, create/deliver quality presentations and reports on a regular basis at Director-level, demonstrating an ability to clearly communicate financial and non-financial benefits to stakeholders. Provide strategic commercial input to a broad range of initiatives, including company-wide cost-saving programmes. Understand the external factors and key challenges faced in the Media industry and use this knowledge to drive innovation and challenge current business processes. What you'll bring: Proven Procurement experience specifically including the development of category plans, sourcing tools/techniques and data analysis expertise. Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen to and understand the needs of our stakeholders whilst having the confidence to challenge them when necessary/appropriate. Demonstrable knowledge and experience of running sourcing activities, including RFPs, contract management, large scale contract renewals, stakeholder management. Demonstrable understanding of key contract terms such as liabilities, indemnities, intellectual property rights, termination rights etc. Good understanding of Sky/Comcast, our platforms and products, and the wider context within which our business operates. Experience of working in an analyst role and within a procurement team. Experience in a global / pan-European function and a clear understanding of the challenges this can present.
