Junior Portfolio Manager - Specialist Lending

As a Junior Portfolio Manager, you'll work closely with senior team members to support the effective management of live lending relationships. You'll gain a deep understanding of how bridging and development loans are monitored, serviced, and managed - with direct exposure to clients, brokers, and internal operations.

This is a dynamic, outward-facing position that combines analytical rigour with real client interaction. You'll regularly attend industry events, property investment exhibitions, and regional roadshows, representing the business and supporting relationship development. You'll also be involved in client meetings, site visits, and project updates, giving you first-hand exposure to the property finance lifecycle.

• Support the management of a portfolio of bridging and development finance loans.
• Assist in monitoring loan performance, client repayments, and drawdown schedules.
• Liaise with brokers, solicitors, valuers, and internal credit teams to ensure smooth deal management.
• Attend property investment shows, exhibitions, and real estate events to build market relationships.
• Join client meetings and site visits to understand project progress and commercial dynamics.
• Maintain up-to-date client and deal records in the CRM system.
• Support senior Portfolio Managers in preparing internal portfolio reports and management updates.
• Contribute to new business opportunities by identifying cross-sell and retention prospects.
• Work collaboratively across credit, operations, and risk to ensure client satisfaction and loan compliance.
