The Role: Product Validation EngineerYou'll be hands-on with revolutionary motor technology, turning ideas into proven, reliable products.Every day, you'll test, analyse, and refine next-generation hardware that helps electric vehicles travel further, perform better, and use fewer components. You'll be:
  • Designing and developing test procedures for performance, function, electrical, environmental, and life testing
  • Building and setting up test rigs, jigs, and fixtures (yes, you'll get your hands dirty!)
  • Analysing data, diagnosing issues, and driving improvements
  • Working with external test houses and certification bodies
  • Writing reports, presenting results, and making recommendations that matter
  • Supervising and mentoring Validation/Test Technicians
What You'll BringYou're curious, hands-on, and ready to push the limits of what's possible. Essential experience:
  • Electro-mechanical testing in an R&D or product development setting
  • Skilled in soldering, wiring, and fault finding
  • Confident using oscilloscopes, meters, data loggers, etc.
  • Comfortable writing test specs, running experiments, and analysing results
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Science or Engineering
Desirable extras:
  • Experience testing electric motors or inverters
  • Familiarity with automotive standards
  • LabVIEW or similar programming
  • Worked with high voltages or in automotive environments
