Recovery Operator - Heavy Vehicle Recovery (C+E Licence Required)

What you will be doing
Operate Go-Ahead London's specialist heavy recovery vehicles to recover broken-down or damaged buses across the capital.
Respond quickly to incidents and breakdowns, minimising service disruption.
Work alongside our engineering teams to assess faults on-site and assist with first-time fixes.
Follow strict roadside safety standards while coordinating with TfL, emergency services, and other stakeholders.
Accurately log recoveries, incidents, and vehicle records.
Play a key part in maintaining operational excellence, safety, and reliability across London's busiest bus network.
What we are looking for
Proven experience operating heavy recovery vehicles (HGV/PSV recovery background desirable).
A valid Category C+E (Class 1) HGV licence with Driver CPC.
Strong knowledge of recovery techniques, load security, and roadside safety procedures.
The ability to remain calm and resourceful under pressure, solving problems independently.
A professional, customer-focused approach when representing Go-Ahead London.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
