Are you a fabricator, with experience in both TIG and MIG welding, looking to join a well-established sheet metal company that supply into a range of industries, and offer a profit related bonus scheme?

Are you confident in reading engineering specifications and looking for a varied role that will see you assisting with assembly and quality control, and offers a Monday - Friday role and a Christmas Shutdown?

This company was established over six decades ago and in that time has grown to offer both light and heavy sheet metal solutions. The company supply into a range of industries including the medical, catering, lighting and electrical markets.

In this role the suitable candidate will expected to work in a team of five, completing light sheet metal works. Using both TIG and MIG processes, you will be working from a 2mm to a 6mm thickness.

The Role:

• 7:30 - 4:30 Monday - Thursday 8 - 12:30 Friday
• Conduct both TIG and MIG welding processes
• Assist the quality inspectors in conducting the quality checks, ensuring all works are completed to client standard
• Collaborate with the production teams in the assembly of works
• Work in a team of up to five on the shop floor
• Maintain a clean, and safe, working environment

The Person:

• Experience in both TIG and MIG welding
• Confident in reading engineering drawings
• Light sheet metal works experience
