My client is seeking a motivated and dynamic Site Operations Manager to join their team. The Site Operations Manager will be responsible for working alongside the Business Development Director and Operational Teams, overseeing various projects at their clients sites, liaising with their customer / client base, and ensuring that operational goals and the service offered meets their requirements.
Heath and Safety conscious individual with experience of Producing Risk Assessments, Method Statements or similar
Management of some site based staff as a first port of call (therefore people skills and experience are essential).
Work with the site based teams, providing guidance and support to achieve objectives and ensure a great service provision and service to company clients.
Conduct regular meetings and site visits with clients and team members to assess progress and address challenges.
Assist with planning and material flows and haulage requirements for the site contracts.
A good basic knowledge of monitoring costs and budgets for projects and contracts would be of benefit.
Working hours Mon- Friday 7am - 16.00 (with some flexibility on hours when working at different sites).
Ideal candidate :
Experience in crushing and screening processes ideally in aggregates, quarries or
material reclaimation or remediation similar is essential
Experience of bulk materials handling and site operations is essential
Strong enthusiasm to develop leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams and to progress. Be a team player, dynamic and driven to do well. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
The ideal candidate would be located around the Yorks/Humberside/Teesside area and the role will cover sites across the North East and Yorkshire
Salary in the region of 50k and includes company vehicle.
