Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor
Location: Poole
Basic Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 42.5h week

Our client is looking for a Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Vehicle Estimator, to join their busy accident repair centre and become a fully qualified VDA. This would be an ideal job for a repair technician looking for that next step.
Responsibilities of a the Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Vehicle Estimator:
- Appraise a damaged vehicle and identify and record damage, including impact zone and severity
- Access industry vehicle repair methods and apply them appropriately
- Interpret and accurately apply estimating software system
- Using relevant measures to get the vehicle back to pre-accident condition in line with Audatex estimates
- Along with your standard duties you will have off the job learning
Qualifications and skills needed for Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Vehicle Estimator role:
- Must have previous experience in the Automotive Accident Repair
- Panel, Paint or MET experience is desirable
- Computer literate
- Good maths and English
- Be able to communicate confidently with both customers and clients
- Customer friendly
